Draft Environmental Assessment Screening Report – Mill Services Project

The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) invites public comment on the Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) Screening Report for the proposed Mill Services Project by Cameco Corporation (Cameco) at Key Lake, Saskatchewan.

The environmental assessment is being conducted pursuant to the requirements of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act.
The public comment period ends May 21, 2009.

Interested parties should address their written comment to the CNSC contact at the address indicated below.  CNSC staff will review and address all comments received before submitting the EA Screening Report to the Commission for approval and decision.  All comments received regarding the EA Screening Report will be public information.

Copies of the Draft EA Screening Report are available upon request. Please contact the Environmental Assessment Specialist at EA@cnsc-ccsn.gc.ca.

Written comments on the EA Screening Report should be submitted by regular mail, email, or fax by May 21, 2009 to:
