Revised Memorandum of Understanding between CNSC and EMO Ontario

On Friday, June 5, 2009, the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) and Emergency Management Ontario (EMO) signed a revised Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

This MoU has been in place for several years and was recently updated to capture emergency management changes for both organizations.

It is an important agreement between the organizations and ensures there is a clear understanding of each other's role and responsibilities in prevention, mitigation, response and recovery of a radiological and nuclear emergency in Ontario.
