CNSC regulates the nuclear sector in Canada

Canada is one of the few countries possessing a complete functional infrastructure for the entire process of nuclear fuel production and power generation, and CNSC has been successfully regulating this industry for more than 60 years. 

Although most people first think of nuclear power plants when they think of the nuclear sector, there are other nuclear-related activities that take place in different types of nuclear facilities.
